Neringa Dastoor was a resident member of Textiles Hub London from 2016 to 2018. She explores two key areas of textiles: (1) the relationship between architecture and dress where Dastoor creates garments inspired by the Soviet architecture of her childhood and (2), the relationship between perception, ink and painting. Of Lithuanian heritage, her work explores the language of cultural narrative in textiles. Following a masters degree in Communication Design at the Royal College of Art, she specializes in fine art and recently exhibited her paintings and drawings on fabric at the Horse Hospital in London. She has also worked on projects with London Festival of Architecture, the Centre for Recent Drawing and The Poetry School. Discover more.
