Zoë Burt

Burt exhibited her work at Textiles Hub London during the autmun of 2013 as part of Textiles Hub London’s My Nature exhibitions. After studying with the Slow Textiles Group at Dr Emma Neuberg’s experimental Slow Design School (2011 – 13), Burt went on to develop her ethereal design language in natural dyes and pigments.

At the My Nature show opening event, Burt met the then Head of Textiles at London’s Morley College, Marian Lynch (also a former student of Dr Neuberg), and was invited to design and deliver courses at Morley College in natural dyeing. Burt went on to set up the Natural Dye Garden there and continues to develop exquisite natural dye textiles for fashion, interiors and exhibition as well as inspiring future generations to do the same (including one of our residents, Kylie Siobhan). Burt works independently and in creative partnership with pioneering British groups such as Ceres Collective.
