Marie Molterer exhibited her work at Textiles Hub London in 2013 as part of The Geometrics exhibition and symposium curated by Textiles Hub London founder Emma Neuberg and Laura Ashley Foundation Fellow curator Daisy McMullan.

Molterer is an award-winning German artist and designer (TexPrint Chairman’s Prize 2009) who trained in Printed Textiles at the Royal College of Art in London. Her work combines print, fabric, pattern and leitmotif. Papercutouts feature prominently and re-appear in wood, print and animation. Chance and play are part of her dynamic modus operandi transforming papercutouts into inventive montages, prints and short films.
